><p>Il funzionamento del sistema free cooling utilizza <strong>scambiatori di calore a pacco alettato<\/strong> posti davanti alle batterie condensanti. L&#8217;aria attraversa le batterie di free cooling prima di raggiungere i condensatori del refrigerante.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quando la temperatura esterna \u00e8 inferiore alla temperatura del fluido di ritorno dall&#8217;impianto<\/strong>, il sistema di free cooling si attiva. L&#8217;efficienza del free cooling (EER) dipende dalla differenza di temperatura tra la temperatura ambiente e il fluido refrigerato: maggiore \u00e8 la differenza di temperatura fluido\/aria, maggiore sar\u00e0 il livello di EER.<\/p>\n<p>Il chiller ha tre condizioni di funzionamento:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>raffreddamento meccanico<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>free cooling dell&#8217;utente<\/li>\n<li>temperatura acqua ingresso evaporatore RWT<\/li>\n<li>temperatura acqua in uscita evaporatore LWT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quando l&#8217;aria ambiente \u00e8 di <strong>almeno 2 \u00b0C<\/strong> inferiore alla temperatura dell&#8217;acqua di ritorno, il microprocessore consente il funzionamento del sistema free cooling. Grazie all&#8217;apertura della valvola a tre vie, l&#8217;acqua scorre nelle batterie ad acqua prima di attraversare l&#8217;evaporatore.<\/p>\n<p>Il microprocessore, tramite il sensore che monitora la temperatura dell&#8217;acqua in ingresso all&#8217;evaporatore, <strong>riduce di conseguenza l&#8217;azione dei compressori<\/strong> (controllo di capacit\u00e0 multistep) fino a escluderli completamente al raggiungimento del funzionamento in free cooling totale.<\/p>\n<p>Se l&#8217;efficienza del free cooling \u00e8 troppo alta (poich\u00e9 il carico di raffreddamento ambientale o richiesto \u00e8 molto basso) <strong>per mantenere una temperatura dell&#8217;acqua in uscita costante<\/strong>, il microprocessore riduce proporzionalmente il flusso d&#8217;aria attraverso le batterie e se questo non \u00e8 sufficiente, controlla il flusso d&#8217;acqua nelle bobine tramite l&#8217;apertura della valvola a tre
