><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h3>Background<\/h3>\n<p>Lo Sports Training Village presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Bath \u00e8 un ambiente di allenamento multidisciplinare di livello mondiale che d\u00e0 ospitalit\u00e0 a oltre 50 sport e in cui si svolgono regolarmente importanti competizioni internazionali, come la Fed Cup di tennis e i Campionati europei di pentathlon moderno.<\/p>\n<h3>Obiettivi<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019intervento, condotto insieme ai nostri partner inglesi Cooltherm, consisteva nella sostituzione di un vecchio chiller, con uno pi\u00f9 compatto e allo stesso tempo pi\u00f9 efficiente e performante. La potenza del nuovo chiller doveva essere tarata per servire anche una nuova ala dell\u2019edificio che aumentava il carico di raffreddamento richiesto.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Progetto<\/h3>\n<p>Il nuovo chiller \u00e8 stato progettato dopo aver monitorato l\u2019utilizzo dell\u2019impianto esistente e raccolto dati utili dai contatori di energia. In questo modo, \u00e8 stato possibile stabilire la capacit\u00e0 di raffreddamento di picco necessaria per servire tutto l\u2019edificio, incluso il nuovo ampliamento.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Perci\u00f2 abbiamo progettato una unit\u00e0 Turbomiser condensata ad aria da 450 kW di potenza, con due compressori oil-free centrifughi di taglia pi\u00f9 piccola, in modo da assicurare al chiller la necessaria compattezza per adattarsi all\u2019area riservata sul tetto dell\u2019edificio ma garantendo una potenza e un\u2019efficienza maggiori, rispetto alla vecchia unit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, poich\u00e9 l&#8217;Universit\u00e0 monitora costantemente la sua carbon footprint, l\u2019unit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata progettata per garantire la migliore capacit\u00e0 ai carichi parziali e ai carichi minimi invernali, nonch\u00e9 di utilizzare il refrigerante HFO1234ze che ha il pi\u00f9 basso livello di GWP.<\/p>\n<h3>Sfide<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019installazione presentava una duplice sfida: da un lato, la sostituzione dell\u2019impianto doveva essere effettuata nel pi\u00f9 breve tempo possibile per non creare un disagio agli atleti; dall\u2019altro, il parcheggio era piuttosto angusto e la gru necessaria a sollevare il chiller non ci poteva entrare. Grazie all\u2019aiuto dello specialista di sollevamento Terranova, \u00e8 stata trovata una soluzione alternativa utilizzando due gru: la prima sollevava il refrigeratore dal parcheggio in un pozzo dell&#8217;edificio, quindi la seconda gru pi\u00f9 piccola ha posizionato il chiller nella sua collocazione finale.<\/p>\n<h3>Risultato<\/h3>\n<p>Il nostro Turbomiser<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>consente una parzializzazione stabile fino alla incredibile capacit\u00e0 di 50 kW, il che \u00e8 perfetto per quelle giornate invernali dove il carico richiesto \u00e8 molto basso. Ma allo stesso tempo, essendo una macchina a due compressori, pu\u00f2 fornire la maggiore capacit\u00e0 di raffreddamento richiesta nei mesi estivi e offre al cliente la ridondanza integrata del proprio sistema di acqua refrigerata in un&#8217;unica
