href=\"https:\/\/www.johnlewis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Lewis<\/a>, \u00e8 una catena britannica di grandi magazzini di alta gamma che offre marchi prestigiosi, ponendo una particolare attenzione alla sostenibilit\u00e0 ambientale. John Lewis conta numerosi punti vendita in tutto il Regno Unito e lo store di Glasgow, in Scozia, necessitava di una <strong>nuova soluzione di comfort cooling<\/strong>. Per questo progetto, John Lewis era alla ricerca di un produttore di chiller in grado di affrontare problemi logistici complessi e garantire un\u2019<strong>elevata efficienza energetica<\/strong>, riducendo l\u2019<strong>impatto ambientale al minimo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Progetto<\/h3>\n<p>Il punto vendita di Glasgow aveva la necessit\u00e0 di sostituire un vecchio chiller a vite da 1 MW, in funzione da quasi 20 anni. Tuttavia, il progetto presentava una sfida logistica non indifferente: negli anni l\u2019area intorno allo store era stata completamente riqualificata, rendendo <strong>impossibile l\u2019utilizzo di una gru tradizionale<\/strong> per il posizionamento della nuova unit\u00e0 sul tetto dell\u2019edificio. Per questo motivo, serviva una soluzione <strong>personalizzata, modulare e dal peso ridotto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Per risolvere questo problema, il dipartimento di Ricerca &amp; Sviluppo di Geoclima ha ideato una soluzione innovativa in collaborazione con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.althermo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Althermo<\/a>, un\u2019azienda del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoclima.com\/it\/gruppo\/\">Gruppo Geoclima<\/a> specializzata nella produzione di condensatori remoti e dry cooler. Assieme abbiamo dato vita a un chiller da 1 MW, composto da <strong>tre unit\u00e0 motoevaporanti<\/strong> di Geoclima (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoclima.com\/it\/pro\/tse\/\">TSE<\/a>) e <strong>tre condensatori remoti cilindrici<\/strong> di Althermo (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.althermo.com\/products\/cmr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CRM<\/a>). La macchina \u00e8 stata progettata per essere <strong>smontata in sette sezioni<\/strong>, ciascuna con un peso inferiore a una tonnellata, consentendo cos\u00ec un\u2019agevole installazione nonostante l\u2019accesso limitato al tetto dell\u2019edificio. Una volta riassemblato, l\u2019impianto \u00e8 entrato in funzione operando come un chiller unitario.<\/p>\n<p>Grazie a questa soluzione innovativa, non solo siamo riusciti a risolvere efficacemente le difficolt\u00e0 di installazione, ma abbiamo anche soddisfatto tutte le altre richieste specifiche del cliente. Il chiller \u00e8 dotato infatti di <strong>compressori centrifughi oil-free<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.danfoss.com\/it-it\/products\/dcs\/compressors\/turbocor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Turbocor<\/a> e <strong>condensatori cilindrici a microcanali<\/strong>, una combinazione che garantisce livelli di efficienza energetica senza eguali. Grazie alla configurazione cilindrica dei condensatori remoti, la <strong>superficie di scambio termico risulta maggiore del 45%<\/strong> rispetto agli scambiatori di calore a V tradizionali, mentre la tecnologia oil-free di Turbocor \u00e8 nota per il suo <strong>ridotto consumo energetico<\/strong>, la <strong>manutenzione semplificata<\/strong> e il <strong>peso minore<\/strong>. Inoltre, questa tipologia di compressore \u00e8 compatibile con il refrigerante <strong>HFO-R1234ze<\/strong>, utilizzato per il progetto. Questo refrigerante garantisce infatti un impatto ambientale minimo, come richiesto dal cliente, grazie a un GWP (Global Warming Potential) pari a 6 e un ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) pari a 0.<\/p>\n<h3>Risultati<\/h3>\n<p>Rispetto alla vecchia unit\u00e0 con compressore a vite, la soluzione fornita da Geoclima e Althermo ha permesso di migliorare drasticamente l\u2019efficienza energetica dell\u2019edificio, raggiungendo un <strong>EER di 3,7 W\/W<\/strong> e riducendo inoltre l\u2019<strong>impatto ambientale<\/strong>. Il nuovo chiller ha generato un <strong>notevole risparmio energetico<\/strong> e una netta<strong> diminuzione dei costi di manutenzione<\/strong>, garantendo un <strong>forte ritorno dell\u2019investimento<\/strong>. I vantaggi per\u00f2, non sono solo economici e ambientali, ma includono anche una <strong>manutenzione semplificata<\/strong>, <strong>maggiore affidabilit\u00e0<\/strong> e <strong>dimensioni e peso ridotti<\/strong>. Inoltre, nonostante una lunghezza complessiva di 10 metri e la presenza di 12 ventilatori EC, l\u2019installazione della macchina \u00e8 avvenuta con facilit\u00e0 e senza complicazioni. L\u2019unit\u00e0 \u00e8 anche <strong>certificata AHRI<\/strong> ed \u00e8 dotata di un software di monitoraggio remoto, un sequence controller completo e un sistema per l\u2019ottimizzazione energetica, a sottolineare l\u2019attenzione di Geoclima per i dettagli.<\/p>\n<p>Questa soluzione altamente personalizzata mette anche in evidenza il nostro valore distintivo: <strong>Geoclima \u00e8 stato l\u2019unico produttore<\/strong> in grado di offrire un chiller da 1 MW con un design modulare ultraleggero suddiviso in 7 sezioni, che garantisse al contempo un\u2019eccezionale efficienza energetica e un basso impatto ambientale: un risultato perfettamente in linea con l\u2019impegno di John Lewis per la sostenibilit\u00e0 e l\u2019eccellenza operativa.
