I dati preliminari su ottobre 2016 indicano un livello sufficientemente alto da poter annunciare che il <strong>2016 \u00e8 l\u2019anno pi\u00f9 caldo mai registrato<\/strong>. Ci\u00f2 significa che 16 dei 17 anni pi\u00f9 caldi si sono verificati in questi secolo.<\/p>\n<p>Anche altri indicatori del cambiamento climatico stanno superando i record precedenti. I livelli di gas serra nell\u2019atmosfera sono in aumento; il livello dei ghiacci nell\u2019Artico \u00e8 sempre pi\u00f9 basso; grandi ondate di caldo e alluvioni stanno diventando sempre pi\u00f9 frequenti e regolari.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLe temperature sono state superiori alla media del periodo 1961-90 sulla maggior parte delle terre emerse.\u201d Rivela il report. \u201cLe temperature sono state superiori alla media anche sopra le aree oceaniche [\u2026] Una mortalit\u00e0 del 50% \u00e8 stata registrata in diverse parti della Grande Barriera Corallina. [&#8230;] Il livello dei mari \u00e8 cresciuto di 15 millimetri tra novembre 2014 e febbraio 2016 come conseguenza di El Ni\u00f1o, superando decisamente il trend di 3-3.5 mm l\u2019anno registrato dal 1993\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Anche il livello dei gas serra \u00e8 aumentato: <em>\u201cle concentrazioni di anidride carbonica nell\u2019aria hanno raggiunto nel 2015 per la prima volta le 400 parti per milione (ppm). Dalle prime rilevazioni si prevede un nuovo record per il 2016\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In questo scenario, la WMO sottolinea l\u2019importanza e l\u2019urgenza di <strong>attuare concretamente l\u2019Accordo di Parigi<\/strong>.
