{"id":14654,"date":"2017-10-26T14:31:16","date_gmt":"2017-10-26T12:31:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.geoclima.com\/turbomiser-improves-efficiency-in-telecommunication-data-center\/"},"modified":"2018-04-26T11:38:12","modified_gmt":"2018-04-26T09:38:12","slug":"turbomiser-per-la-massima-efficienza-nei-data-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.geoclima.com\/it\/turbomiser-per-la-massima-efficienza-nei-data-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Turbomiser garantisce la massima efficienza per i data center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Per il testing lab di Vodafone a Newbury, in Inghilterra, Geoclima ha lavorato insieme a Cooltherm per la sostituzione dell\u2019ormai datato impianto di raffrescamento.<\/p>\n<p>Per questo progetto, il cliente necessitava di un sistema efficiente e affidabile, in grado di garantire temperature stabili all\u2019interno del server.<\/p>\n<p>Il progetto ha riguardato la progettazione e lo sviluppo di <strong>tre unit\u00e0 Turbomiser condensate ad aria per una capacit\u00e0 massima di 400 kW ciascuna<\/strong>, progettate per garantire ognuna 280 kW di capacit\u00e0 refrigerante al 30% di efficienza. Al fine di garantire stabilit\u00e0 e continuit\u00e0 di funzionamento al data center, le unit\u00e0 sono state installate una per volta nel corso di quattro settimane.<\/p>\n<p>Durante le verifiche sul sito, \u00e8 emerso che l\u2019impianto presentava una combinazione di unit\u00e0 CRAC con batterie ad acqua e batteria a espansione diretta (DX) che non risultava pi\u00f9 efficiente, soprattutto lato DX.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019installazione delle unit\u00e0 Turbomiser garantisce importanti benefici in termini di efficienza e di risparmio energetico, che potrebbero essere ulteriormente massimizzati convertendo le unit\u00e0 CRAC DX non pi\u00f9 efficienti. Per questo motivo, \u00e8 risultato opportuno installare <strong>nuove batterie ad acqua in sostituzione delle batterie DX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019installazione delle unit\u00e0 Turbomiser e delle nuove batterie garantisce la massima efficienza e una considerevole diminuzione dei costi energetici, oltre che importanti vantaggi a livello ambientale. Il solo impiego dei chiller Turbomiser porta a una <strong>riduzione del 10% dei costi energetici, che significa 10.000\u00a3 al mese<\/strong>, mentre le unit\u00e0 CRAC riconvertite impiegano meno del 20% di energia delle precedenti, con ulteriori notevoli vantaggi da un punto di vista energetico.
