Medium temperature chiller with HFO for low GWP process cooling

Among the emerging trends in the HVAC market, the use of HFO refrigerants with medium temperature chillers for process cooling applications is becoming more and more widespread, as a substitute for traditional fluids and valid alternative to CO₂.

The advantages are numerous because these refrigerants make it possible to create simpler and cheaper systems than CO₂  ones; moreover, thanks to their very low GWP, they already meet the restrictions that the F-gas Regulation will impose from 2022.

A perfect example of this trend is the cooling system we have recently designed for a large storage warehouse of one of the world’s largest Food&Beverage companies.
