This new series, which includes water-cooled chillers, stands out for its powerful, giant compressor: Hanbell RTM100. This is an oil-free centrifugal compressor with magnetic levitation technology, capable of delivering up to 1400 kW (4,776,998 BTU/h) individually and 4200 kW (14,330,996 BTU/h) in parallel installations. Thanks to its “giant” performance, Hanbell is the ideal solution for both comfort and process applications that require high cooling capacity and an outlet water temperature between 4 and 14°C (39.2 – 57.2°F).
The TMH Giant units, equipped with a flooded evaporator and an optional economizer, offer several key benefits:
- Maintenance is simple and quick.
- Parallel configuration allows for even higher cooling capacities.
- The sequence controller ensures more efficient management of the parallel modules.
All units are assembled on a sturdy, self-supporting metal frame and come fully wired, ready to be connected to the plant. Before delivery, each unit undergoes strict performance testing, including checks on all safety systems and installed components.
The range supports R134a and R513A refrigerants, as well as the environmentally friendly HFO-R1234ze, which boasts a GWP of 6 and an ODP of 0. The following are the performance specifications for single and parallel modules, based on the refrigerant used. The data were calculated considering an inlet water temperature of 12°C (53.6°F) and an outlet temperature of 7°C (44.6°F).
