The first Turbomiser for the Middle East

Geoclima has delivered the first Turbomiser chiller in the Middle East. The project was commissioned by the Head of Heavy Duty Cooling (HDC) Fawaz Bitar and is now serving the air conditioning system in ZAC offices in Saudi Arabia. Discover all the stunning features of Turbomiser:

New HFO Turbomiser for JLP Birmingham facilities

Geoclima keeps meeting the specific needs of a market always looking for new eco-friendly and energy efficient solutions. We have been the first in the world to develop chillers with Turbocor compressors optimised for HFO1234ze – a refrigerant with minimal environmental impact (GWP=6) that also provides very high performance – and strengthened by such experience, we keep moving that way.
We have developed a new HFO Turbomiser for air conditioning at JLP (John Lewis Partnership – a leading company in supermarket chains and department stores in the United Kingdom) facilities in Birmingham.

Brine chillers for Ski Jumping stadiums

We have developed special units designed for ski jumping stadiums. The project concerns scroll brine chillers, equipped with hydronic kit, ensuring the maximum temperature uniformity on the ski jumping hill and a high degree of reliability. Moreover, we have been able to meet the client’s requirements concerning the opportunity to work on the machine easily and to considerably reduce the energy consumption. Thanks to this project, Geoclima Srl proves its flexibility, since it doesn’t restrict itself to operate only in the strengthened sectors, but develops new technologies and solutions in order to further spread its scopes.

A special technology for the marine sector

Geoclima will be present in the marine sector with specially-designed units. These new machines ensure the highest compactness and provide the use of devices realized in order to considerably reduce noise and vibrations. Moreover, Geoclima has designed and realized the exchangers in-house, with the use of thicker materials in order to ensure machines with great strength and a longer-lasting life, keeping into consideration problems concerning the contact with seawater. This was possible thanks to the great adaptability and attention shown by Geoclima towards specific needs and applications.

Two ammonia chillers for a coal pit in Poland

What most characterizes Geoclima is the capability to satisfy specific needs and to face difficult challenges, concerning, for instance, particular environmental conditions. An example of this is represented by a cutting-edge project realized for an important coal pit in Poland, whose necessity is to operate deeper and deeper and, therefore, to solve problems concerning the related increase of temperature. In these particular conditions, the only way to decrease temperatures is to cool down the air through cooling systems that use refrigerated water to work. Wonan Group SA is the Polish leading company and has developed a cooling system based on two circuits: an underground circuit and a surface cooling system. Geoclima operates in the second one, with the design and realization, commissioned by TERMSTER as a subcontractor of Wonam, of two innovative 1350 kw GNH ammonia chillers with in-house exchangers.
