Geoclima freezes the ice cave in the new Moscow Zaryadye Park

One Geoclima condenserless unit has recently been installed under the ice cave of the new Zaryadye Park in the center of Moscow. The different climatic zones typical of Russia are recreated within the 10-hectares Zaryadye Park and one of the main attraction is a 350-square-meter ice cave.

In order to provide constant and adequate climate conditions so that to recreate the arctic environment, Geoclima designed and produced one 93 kW VSE condenserless water chiller with heat recovery.

The temperature within the ice cave will be constantly maintained between -5° C and -8° C and around 70 tons of water will be freezed to create the ice cave, by means of a complex layout of curved metal pipes.

Geoclima has been recently chosen as a case study of a thesis entitled “Foreign market penetration. The Geoclima case study” for a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Trieste. Geoclima at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort - MCE 2018

Again this year we will be present at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, from the 13th to the 16th of March 2018, at Fiera Milano, at Hall 22, Booth N49-P42.

MCE will give us the chance to present – for the first time to the European market – Circlemiser, the new and most efficient series of air cooled chillers, with special cylindrical condensers and cascade flooded evaporators. But that’s not all! This year for the first time, the other companies of our group will be present as well, to exhibit and present the entire offer of HVAC solutions we can provide.

As in the past, there will be Clima Tech, Austrian company specialized in the design and manufacture of ventilation and air handling units. Our partner Hecoclima will be debuting at MCE: specialized in the manufacture of heating and cooling units they will exhibit a new polyvalent VHA unit, A2L ready. For the first time CROM will be present at MCE: our partner in the design and production of shell and tube heat exchangers. Last but not least, Everest, specialized in software and hardware devices for management and monitoring of energy performance of HVAC systems.

Turbomiser modular unit at Jagiellonian Library in Poland

Turbomiser modular unit for Polish library

For the renovation of the air conditioning system of the Jagiellonian Library in Cracow, Geoclima worked closely with Energycool in the design of new air cooled Turbomiser unit for indoor installation, with radial fans and 300 kW of cooling capacity.

The project set several challenges, from both the design and the installation point of view. The new chiller had to be designed according to the existing air conditioning system and to the existing air intake and air discharge ducts. The new Turbomiser unit has to be installed indoor, in the technical room underground, where it is not possible to enter and move the whole unit. The solution provided by Geoclima is a modular unit designed to me dismantled outside and then fit back together within the technical room.
