Geoclima, together with Clima Tech and Zamil AC, has developed an important project for the Ministry of Defence in Saudi Arabia. The project concerns the design of 28 condensing units connected to as many air handling units, to be installed in separate military buildings.
The AHU-ACCU packages are designed for all-year-round operations: to this end, condensing units, supplied with one or two scroll compressors, are also equipped with heat pumps. Moreover, since the particular field of application, Clima Tech AHUs comply with ATEX conditions for installation in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1, 21. Behind this project there is a strong cooperation between Geoclima, Clima Tech and Zamil Air Conditioners, which led to the development of well-integrated solutions, able to meet the end user’s specific requirements.

After the official launch of the operations of Geoclima Australasia and the delivery of the first orders for Geoclima chillers in Australia, our other great objective is about to be achieved.

Geoclima Asia is getting ready to start.

The 3000 square meters production facility is nearly finished and at present we are completing the construction of the test area. In Bangkok we will be able not only to assemble chillers as we do in Italy and Russia, but we will also be able to test our units, both air and water chillers, thanks to a 2000 kW fully equipped test centre.
Geoclima Asia will work in close contact with both Geoclima Australasia and the Italian headquarters, and, in addition, will rely on the technical know-how shared with ATS Thailand.
In fact, in 2014 Geoclima built a partnership with ATS Air Treatment Solutions. ATS has been working in Thailand for 8 years and has a pretty important role in the refrigeration air dryers market. This cooperation between Geoclima and ATS, which goes far beyond the sharing of the plant, represents a strong basis on which we are going to build and develop our presence in Asia.

Geoclima Asia is expected to become operational in March: with this perspective we have already received an order for the production of two TMA and two TMH Turbomiser chillers.

The Thai production facility is another important piece to the entire Geoclima puzzle and, together with Geoclima Australasia, will ensure a strong presence of Geoclima in the Asian market.
